Journalist. Pattern-seer. Truth teller.

My mission is to engage and empower the public. I believe in the audience's intelligence, whether I'm explaining the mysteries of dark energy or the real-world impact of a new climate policy.

I also fight for the stories that hold power to account and challenge the status quo.

My work is defined by a sharp, deeply researched approach and a clear moral backbone.

Previously, I served as an Assignment Editor at CBS News Chicago, honing my news judgment and editorial strategy. My background also includes freelance writing and directing development for 14 East Magazine.

A bit more about me: I hold a black belt in Shotokan karate and have been vegan for a decade.

If I am not reporting on the news, I am existentially consuming it online.
